Ever wonder how ladybugs get their luck? What if that luck came from a goddess. One who channelled all her magic into every single ladybug out in the world. So that every time one landed on you, you were getting a tiny bit of her magic. This hand-coloured print is one of a kind. I digitized the original drawing, then printed it on watercolour paper using pigment inks (that's the black lines you see), then I added the colour by hand. A subtle revelation that there was this bit of good inside you. The scene depicts this shift through the atmosphere of a morning-lit apartment, where a ray of light illuminates mysterious crystalline objects on a coffee table. The gem like objects create beautiful caustic light patterns on the surface they sit on. Painted in deep blues, jewel-tone purples, and glowing pinks.
